Now hosting GLSL code and demos

Well, it had to happen. 3Dlabs has taken down the developer site that we worked so hard at when we were there. We do have to thank them though, they hosted the OpenGL Shading Language code and demos for two full years after they laid all of us off. I have all the files that 3Dlabs used to host and they are available now on 3Dshaders.com. Some of the files are huge (70MB+) and I don't have unlimited bandwidth on this account, so please be courteous with downloads. If it gets out of hand (i.e., over my bandwidth limit) we'll have to sort out something else. If you buy stuff on Amazon through my links, that might be sufficient to cover an increase in bandwidth. :-)

Thanks to everyone who reported the broken links on my site when 3Dlabs pulled the plug on the GLSL developer site.

3Dshaders.com Restored

After a fair bit of work, the 3Dshaders.com web site should now be fully restored on a new (and hopefully more secure) ISP. I basically had to recreate everything, so if you notice anything amiss, please let me know. Sorry for the interruption in service. Once again, do NOT use mysitespace.com as your hosting company. Their service was pathetic and intolerable.

Pardon the Interruption!

I am in the process of moving my web site to a new service provider. My former ISP, mysitespace.com, had extremely poor security and very poor customer support. My web site was hacked numerous times, and the last attack took it down for several days. The hackers modified files on my site by inserting links for non-prescription drug web sites, changed file permissions to #000, and they placed other illicit files on my site. Mysitespace.com was never able to repair the problems. I am left to do a lot of repair/restoration work that I did not ask for. Two morals: Do NOT use mysitespace.com as your ISP and when choosing an ISP, always choose one that has a phone number so that you can talk to a real human being. I chose godaddy.com, so we'll see how that works out.
